Assignment Aim:
The aim of this assignment is to explore the idea of blog as a presentation method and utilise the medium to communicate your understanding of the ‘Global Art’ ideas.
Brief:
Following on from the lecture by Toni and Janet Lilo about the Global you are to make a post for your blog that shows your understanding of the ‘global in art’ The post should be based on global issues in art or should take advantage the internet as a new communication technology.
Requirements:
You need to do one or more of the following:
• Create a new opportunity for a group of people to interact with your blog
• Design a project that utilises a network of participants. within an idea
• Post an exhibition that shows how global environmental issues or political issues are present in your or others art work.(3 or more artworks from an international or local gallery based exhibition, not an internet search).
• Make a community that discusses issues around art making using your blog
